Mississippi

Although Mississippi isn’t big on wineries, the state is big on muscadine grapes. They grow practically everywhere in the state and find their way into jams, jellies, and yes, wine.

There are a small handful of wineries in Mississippi, most notably Old South Winery in Natchez. They create eight types of muscadine wine that are popular throughout the state. You can even order some directly – they have a list of states they’ll ship to on their website.
